Our Ministry

BUILD AWARENESS

Understanding the sex trafficking issue is the first step toward engaging in the fight against it.  A key aspect of our ministry is building awareness of trafficking and related issues within the church through a variety of methods.  A Spirit-empowered church armed with a thorough knowledge of the trafficking issue can be a powerful deterrent against trafficking in their local communities.

EQUIP BELIEVERS

Knowing about trafficking is of only half the battle.  Engaging in the fight against it is the other half.  God can use any and all gifts and talents in the fight against trafficking.  We want to help people discover how God has equipped them with individual gifts, passions, and talents that can make a tremendous impact in this fight.

CONNECT THE CHURCH

There are many local anti-trafficking organizations already doing great work, but are in substantial need for more volunteers.  There are many in the church who would like to help but do not know how or where they can engage.  We want to build bridges between local churches who are ready to engage in anti-trafficking ministry and these local anti-trafficking organizations.

Learn About Trafficking

We are not to simply bandage the wounds of victims beneath the wheels of injustice, we are to drive a spoke into the wheel itself.

Dietrich Bonhoeffer

And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.

Micah 6:8b

Learn to do right; seek justice.
    Defend the oppressed.
Take up the cause of the fatherless;
plead the case of the widow.

Isaiah 1:17

You may choose to look the other way but you can never say again that you did not know.

William Wilberforce

The nature and all the circumstances of this trade are now laid open to us; we can no longer plead ignorance, we can not evade it; it is now an object placed before us, we can not pass it; we may spurn it, we may kick it out of our way, but we can not turn aside so as to avoid seeing it.

William Wilberforce
